Emilee
Speech Therapy
Emilee is a life-long Alaskan with a passion for seeing kids excel in their communication. She graduated from East Carolina University in 2018 with her Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Her clinical background spans diverse experiences for a variety of speech and language disorders for individuals from 10 months to adult. As a mom of three, Emilee knows that life can be busy. She is happy helping families establish routines and rhythms to carry-over therapeutic practices into their homes to keep home practice fun and less of a chore. She takes enjoyment in each child and the unique strengths and personalities that they have. She uses her background knowledge to create individual goals to help each child thrive. When not in the clinic, Emilee enjoys spending time with her own children and exploring the outdoors.
Emilee has experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and enjoys helping children express themselves in more detail when verbal speech may be hindered by other factors.
