Erin is a registered and licensed occupational therapist who earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Sacred Heart University in CT. Originally from the East Coast, Erin came to Alaska as a traveling therapist and quickly decided to plant roots at PLPT in 2020.Erin believes occupational therapy should be as fun as it is functional, helping children build meaningful skills through connection, creativity, and play. She is especially passionate about supporting children with emotional regulation challenges, behavioral differences, and sensory processing needs. She works closely with families to help children better understand their bodies, develop effective self-regulation strategies, and build confidence in daily routines at home and in the community.

Her approach blends evidence-based practice with creativity and play, emphasizing practical, functional tools that empower both children and caregivers. Erin values collaboration with parents, teachers, and other providers to ensure skills generalize beyond the therapy session and into everyday life.

Outside of the clinic, Erin enjoys exploring the Alaskan outdoors, cooking, crafting, and spending time with her husband, family, and her two cats, Bear and Moose.
