Born in Lane County, Oregon, Carrie moved to Alaska in 1999 to be closer to family. After moving all around the Matsu Valley she settled in Palmer, Alaska. Carrie is married and has one son.

Carrie has a long history of management experience after running multiple locations with a large number of staff she decided to make a change and run her own business with her husband. After four years she felt she could do more and wanted to get some cultural experience with the Alaska Native community. Carrie was drawn back to her passion in business management and has been with Playful Learning since 2021 serving the children and families at our Eagle River location. She enjoys reading, fishing, motor cross and travel.
